Beszélő (Speaker) was a liberal Hungarian political and cultural magazine. It was first published in 1981, as a samizdat, that is, an illegal publication. It has been published legally since the regime change, as a weekly newspaper between 1989 and 1996, and since then as a monthly or bimonthly magazine. The magazine ceased in December 2012.
