Boston After Dark was the original underground weekly in Boston (since 1966). Later merged with Cambridge Phoenix as Boston Phoenix and Boston After Dark used as the name for the paper's arts and entertainment section. Distributed free of charge to college campuses in the Boston area, it carried the nameplate Phoenix/B.A.D. until 1999. (wikipedia)
