Guitar and its sister publication Guitar Acoustic were then merged and the magazine was published under the title Guitar & Guitar Acoustic until February 2024, which was the last issue. Namely then, Verlag PPV Medien, the publisher of Guitar, Keys, Tastenwelt, Soundcheck and Drumheads magazines, declared insolvency.
