Skema (Scheme) was a monthly magazine of news and culture,
published in 1969-1974 by edition Poligrafici Il Borgo in Bologne. "The
intention was to describe reality with pictures, leaving the
words in the background, because the images are medium that
suffers less from alterations." (Il
lettore impenitente)
On page 19 are pictures of Frank Zappa and The Mothers, Country Joe & The Fish, The Doors and Ravi Shankar. The text on this page is: "I suoni e le parole, in una dichiarata sottomissione alla droga, come mezzo nuovo di espressione: ecco i tragici interpreti della pop music americana".
