Judgment of $2,050,405.96 was asked by entertainer Frank Zappa and Intercontinental Absurdities Ltd., in Federal Court suit filed Friday (7) against American Talent International Ltd., in breach of contract action.

Zappa and his corporation alleged that in an oral agreement with ATIL closed in December 1973, defendant was given exclusive right to book live performances of Zappa.

Complaint stated that certain specified requirements for these live performances were agreed upon, but ATIL breached these specifics in numerous areas.

Such "gross material breach" of the oral agreement, according to complaint, caused plaintiffs to decide "to terminate its exclusive agency pact with defendant." Manner in which defendant "so grossly mishandled" two tours of Zappa, one in March and a second in April, "has created irreparable damage" to plaintiffs, it was alleged.
