Frank Zappa lashed out at his record company – Warner Brothers – during a recent concert at New York's Palladium. Zappa's complaint? Warner Brothers isn't giving his music enough publicity.

Towards the end of Frank's show, a screen on-stage flashed "Warner Brothers Records Sucks."

Zappa, who had been off-stage, re-emerged and told the audience, "You wanna know why Warner Brothers Records sucks? I'll tell you."

Zappa then explained that his manager had just met with Warner Brothes president Mo Ostin (Pron: Austin) about Frank's new album, "Zoot Allures." Frank wanted to find out what kind of promotional backing he was getting for his LP and his toure.

But – according to Frank – Ostin told his manager, "Frank Zappa hasn't done anything. Why should we give him any support?"

Those at the Palladium concert aren't the only ones who've heard about Zappa's dissatisfaction with Warner Brothers. In a recent New York Times interview. Zappa complained that his record company is a "stumbling block" between him and the public.
