This is the interview I did with rock musician Frank Zappa for my US Army unit newspaper in December 1970. It still rates as one of the best I ever did even more than fifty years later. His comments on music and fame still resonate today.

The interview was most likely done on December 5, 1970, the day Frank Zappa and The Mothers played a concert at the Kongresshalle in Frankfurt.
