Zappa news and spoos to the masses via my Idiot Bastard Son
website, I posted twelve 'for-one-month-only' essays. These
provided answers to some of those questions that no one ever
asks: about Frank's family, friends and those he worked with;
the significant women in his life; the people who photogtraphed
him; and other random stuff.
Yes, I gave a dozen FUQs (Frequently Unasked Questions)!
Here are most of those - slightly updated and modified - together
with a few other articles (including one about Frank's brief
stint as a beat poet) that I have posted at IBS.
Over 25,000 words in a spiffy little password protected PDF
file. Read it on your phone, laptop, Kindle, or print it out
and staple it to your neighbour's bird table. Whatever.
For every copy ordered, the Idiot will donate one pound to Prostate

Andrew Greenaway has published another essential
book.
The latest volume in Andrew's "Frank Zappa - Frequently
Unasked Questions" is aptly called "FUQ Vol. 4". And what about
"Vol. 3", you might ask? Well, that might be due to the fact
that there's also a combined version of Volumes 1 & 2, which
could be referred to as "Vol. 3". Or not. Who knows.
Anyway,
another set of excellent tributes, facts and interviews with
Cynthia Plaster Caster, Kris Peterson, Kim Fowley, Johnny 'Guitar'
Watson, Ian Underwood and Ed Mann, Plus fascinating bits and
pieces on different subjects, even on the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah
Band. All related to Uncle Frank.
E-book only, although rumour
has it that it might get a paper version in the near future
as well.
