Beat the Boots and Beat the Boots II were copies of illegal bootleg albums, that Zappa released legally to try to make some money off of them himself. The Beat the Boots boxes came with a T-shirt and a "pop-up display"; the Beat the Boots II boxes came with a black beret, a pin and a scrapbook.
