In 1971 (!!) Piet Davelaar started "Inventions", a Frank Zappa & Mothers fanzine published by the Frank Zappa Society. To my knowledge, "Inventions" was the first Zappa fanzine. The first issues were published about 35 years ago. As you can see, I tried to add a table of contents which should give you an idea of what it was all about: newsflashes, new releases, and a lot of info on the artists that belonged to the Zappa Family.
