Zappa wil Queen
By ?, p 1

Zappa wil Queen

Zappa will Queen
Frank Zappa is known for its commitment to want the very best musicians in his ever-changing bands. This time, the renowned guitarist / singer / composer put his sights on none other than Brian May of Queen.
Zappa never succeed, many a reader will think. Persistence pays off and Frank will not leave in an attempt to tie the Queen guitarist.

Zappa several times showed respect on Queen and especially Brian May, but most probably this is unfounded rumor.

FYI. MrQueenFan:

Brian May has told a story where Frank Zappa was on a Queen concert backstage and Brian wasn't confortable with something. Frank Zappa asked him what was wrong and Brian told him that he had missed a note and made a mistake. Zappa told him that it wasn't a mistake, because according to Zappa he wrote the song, it was his music, so he could play it has he wished.

FYI. Here is Frank Zappa wearing Hitkrant badge at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam, 26th February 1979..
