Vagant is a magazine for literature and criticism, founded in 1988. The magazine is based in Bergen and Berlin, and is primarily aimed at a Norwegian audience, but prints texts in all the Scandinavian languages. ... In the early years, Vagant was an independent magazine, based in Oslo. In 1999, a parallel editorial office was established in Bergen, which produced one issue a year. In 2002 came the Oslo editorial board's last issue, and then the magazine was based in Bergen for the next ten years. The head office was moved to Berlin in 2013.
