This first version of the book was published in 1984. It was translated into Italian (Zapp! : vita, vizi, miracoli di Frank Zappa, 1986, ISBN 88-85008-87-9) Some Zappa bibliographies are listing a book by Michael Gray titled Good Night Boys And Girls. This may be the the working title of the current book.

Michael Gray 2007/05/29:

I have this feeling that Goodnight Boys & Girls was a title proposed for my own book and then not used... but I might be quite wrong about that: it's all a very long time ago!
